Fort Lauderdale Information
Official City
of Fort Lauderdale Website.
Fort Lauderdale Restaurants
You'll find Ft Lauderdale restaurants listed on Zagat's guide
to their favorite local restaurants. Or try Fodor's
Web Site for recommendation of the best restaurants around town.
Fort Lauderdale Arts
and Culture
We take tremendous pride in the Broward
Center for the Performing Arts, The
Concert Association of Florida, and more than 20 local theatre
companies. The Art
and Culture Center of Hollywood also brings some remarkable exhibits
and performances to our area.
Just minutes from the beach is the Riverwalk
Arts and Entertainment District in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale. This
is a Fort Lauderdale treasure. The most beautiful mile of riverfront
lined with extravagant yachts, it is full of cultural attractions,
shops and restaurants, street vendors and musicians.
Riverwalk is adjacent to Esplanade Park and other downtown attractions
like the Performing
Art s Center The
Broward County Library, The Museum of Science and Discovery, the Museum
of Art, chic Las
Olas Boulevard and so much more.
The downtown area also includes the
Fort Lauderdale Film Festival, and historic Stranahan House.
Fort Lauderdale Boating
and First Quality Used Yachts
There are more yachts per capita in Fort Lauderdale than anyplace else
in the world. With so many homes along our gorgeous Intracoastal
Waterway and other inland canals, it is only natural that local residents
have made this the Yachting Capital of the World.
If your South Florida lifestyle includes a yacht, you can't live without The
Boating News.
Fort
Lauderdale and Broward County Schools

Hotels and Accommodation
The number of hotels and motels is almost as staggering as the number
of restaurants. Our area offers everything from little mom & pop
motels and beach guesthouses near the lavish Marriot
Harbor Beach Resort and Spa and the Hyatt at Pier 66, right next
to Bahia Mar.
Otherwise your best bet for a list that's kept up to date is our Fort
Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau. Their page is full
of graphics and will take a minute to load but it's easy to navigate
and full of useful information on sports, shopping, arts, entertainment,
and lots more.
